About our crawler

CEMarque Watch fetches a small, fixed list of official web pages and documents about Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 so that subscribers can be told when they change.

• User-Agent: CEMarqueWatch/1.0 (+https://cemarque.com/watch/about-our-crawler)
• What it fetches: 41 URLs listed in our Watchlist v2026.09.1 — EUR-Lex, the European Commission, ENISA, national CSIRT pages, standardisation and notified-body lists. Nothing else, and never link-following.
• How often: once a day or once a week per URL, with conditional requests (ETag / If-Modified-Since) so an unchanged page costs one small response. Requests to any one host are at least 30 seconds apart.
• robots.txt is honoured. A Disallow for CEMarqueWatch (or for all agents) stops fetching of the matching paths.
• What we keep: a hashed snapshot of the monitored region of each page for change detection. We do not index, republish, or reproduce pages; published change notes carry short excerpts and a link to the source.
